I’ve been sitting on this blog for a couple weeks now. It’s been ready to launch, and I haven’t had the heart to do it. Various fears and worries have held me back, the most recent one being that it will feel too contrived and tonedeaf amidst the multiple crises we are having in the world.
Then I realized that might just be the reason I SHOULD launch this, grow my platform, share my voice, expand my business, and make a bigger difference. After all, how can I help the world in silence from my couch with an empty bank account?
The timing may never feel right, you might always be scared, you might have doubts, but what you will do in this world when you chase your dreams will be far greater than what you do sitting around thinking about doing it.
I started this blog in conjunction with my social media accounts in hopes that someday I will have a big enough platform to help others. It may just seem like a cute little home decor and lifestyle page today, but I hope it grows into something so big I can’t even dream it up today.
I want the same for you too. Whether its a blog, YouTube channel, book publishing deal, speaking gig, teaching career, doctorate degree, certifications and licenses, a gorgeous home, a big family, whatever you’re chasing, don’t let fear of judgement stop you.
You were given your dreams and goals for a reason. The world needs you and your greatness, today more than ever. This has been on my heart, and I couldn’t put this project out into the world without sharing this message too!
