Livable Luxury
I’m loving the livable luxury trend, specifically the boho luxe style. It’s genius! I love the idea of being surrounded by items that are luxurious, while also being functional, budget friendly, and practical.
With all of the new innovative fabrics that are stain resistant and durable, you can have that cream colored couch or pillow you’ve always wanted without having to worry about it getting ruined by food or drink stains! Also, by bringing in natural materials (or faux natural materials) like rattan and marble, you create a cozy yet luxurious feeling space.
There are so many places to get these luxurious items on a budget. Specifically, I’m loving all of the Studio McGee decor from Target! These pieces resemble ones from very high end stores I’ve had my eye on for a while, yet they are more attainable for me because they’re closer to my allotted budget.
Plants

It’s so funny to me that having plants in the house is considered a trend. They’re a constant if you just look out the window, in most places. However, I haven’t ever had the desire to have plants in my home until this year. We’ve been in the house more than we’ve been out of the house, so having plants in the house to be both decorative and cleanse the stuffy air sounds perfect.
Knotted Decor
Such an off the wall trend, but knotted table decor is in. It seems like everyone has their own version of a knot sculpture, Joss & Main, CB2, West Elm, Anthropologie, Michaels. People are even making their own and selling them on Etsy! But my favorite (and apparently everyone else’s) is the one by Studio McGee at Target, which is currently sold out.
I have my eyes on one myself, so if they come back in stock I’ll come back here and let you all know!
Vessels and Flower Arrangements
I LOVE flowers. One of my dreams is to own my own field-to-vase flower farm. Flower arrangements are a super easy and inexpensive way to add a sweet yet luxurious feel to your home.
Pair those florals with large glass or clay vessels, and you’ve got yourself a killer centerpiece. Flower arrangement in glass vases was the first thing I consistently decorated my home with, in any season. However, spring flowers just hit differently and I’m so excited that it’s almost spring!!
Faux flowers are also perfect for achieving this look, especially on a budget. You only have to buy them once!
Rattan and Cane Webbing Accent Pieces
THIS. This might be my favorite trend of all time. Rattan pieces are so gorgeous and perfect for anyone trying to achieve a boho-luxe vibe in their home. I’m happy to see another vintage style get the spotlight and a revival.
I will say that these pieces can be a bit expensive. My tip to you is to make your rattan item the centerpiece, the investment, the star of the show, and decorate around it with more budget friendly items. For example, a rattan bed with $20 sheets from Walmart and a couple $10 throw pillows.
Baskets are one way to get this texture into your home for a great price!
Neutral Main Spaces with Colorful Accents

I know there is always a constant debate on whether or not gray is in or out, or beige, or white. Everyone has painted their living spaces in one or all of these colors in the past 5 years, let’s be honest. My opinion – it doesn’t matter what your base color is as long as you dress it up.
I’ve been seeing a trend of pops of color in neutral rooms. In 2019 – 2020 everything was monochromatic. The walls, furniture, rugs, flooring, it was all a neutral color. Now I’m seeing all neutral rooms with a bright colored couch, or bright coffee table decor pieces, or a bright rug. All of these are perfect for a spring home refresh. What better way to freshen up your room after a LONG stay at home than to add a fun, colorful piece?
My favorite ways to add color to a space is by adding an area rug, or some colorful throw pillows.
Let me know what your favorite trends are or if you have any of these going on in your home!
